PwnCNC Limited Warranty

Effective date: 8/25/2026

This Limited Warranty applies to eligible products purchased directly from PwnCNC on or after the effective date shown above. Products purchased before this date remain subject to the warranty terms in effect on the original purchase date.

1. Who This Warranty Applies To

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase from PwnCNC is required.

Products purchased used, transferred to another owner, or purchased from an unauthorized reseller are not covered unless required by applicable law.

2. PwnCNC-Manufactured Components

PwnCNC warrants that components manufactured or assembled by PwnCNC will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation for 12 months from the original shipment date.

Covered PwnCNC components may include:

PwnCNC-manufactured enclosures
PwnCNC-manufactured cables and wiring assemblies
PwnCNC-manufactured dust-collection components
PwnCNC-manufactured mounting hardware and mechanical assemblies
PwnCNC-manufactured controller and accessory integration assemblies

Coverage applies only to the affected PwnCNC-manufactured component. It does not automatically extend to an entire spindle system, ATC system, conversion kit, CNC machine, or other bundled product.

3. Third-Party Components

Spindle motors, ATC spindle motors, VFDs, MASSO controllers, stepper motors, power supplies, sensors, chillers, pumps, and other components manufactured by third parties are subject to the original manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty, if any.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the applicable product page, PwnCNC does not provide a separate warranty for third-party components and does not perform component-level repair of those products.

PwnCNC may assist the original purchaser with documentation and coordination of an eligible manufacturer warranty claim. Assistance with a claim does not guarantee that the manufacturer or supplier will approve the claim.

The manufacturer or supplier may require that a component be returned to it or to a designated service facility for inspection. Warranty eligibility, available remedies, evaluation procedures, and shipping responsibility for third-party components are governed by that manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty terms.

4. Available Remedies for PwnCNC-Manufactured Components

If PwnCNC confirms that a covered PwnCNC-manufactured component contains a defect in materials or workmanship, PwnCNC may, at its discretion:

Repair the affected PwnCNC-manufactured component
Replace the affected component with a new or functionally equivalent refurbished component
Issue store credit for the value of the affected component
Refund the original purchase price of the affected component

The remedy selected by PwnCNC is the purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

Replacement components may be new, refurbished, revised, or functionally equivalent. A replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period. The replacement remains covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period unless required otherwise by law.

5. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover defects, failures, or damage caused by or related to:

Improper installation, wiring, grounding, configuration, or programming
Incorrect voltage, electrical supply, breaker, wiring, or VFD parameters
Electrical noise, electromagnetic interference, or inadequate grounding
Use with incompatible machines, controllers, firmware, software, accessories, or third-party components
Crashes, collisions, overloading, stalls, overheating, or operation outside the product’s intended range
Improper feeds, speeds, tooling, tool engagement, or machining practices
Cross-threading or other damage to spindle shafts, collets, nuts, toolholders, or tooling interfaces
Coolant leaks, insufficient coolant flow, contamination, corrosion, freezing, or use of an improper coolant mixture
Blocked airflow, inadequate ventilation, or operation in an unsuitable environment
Cable routing, repeated flexing, pinch points, abrasion, strain, or inadequate cable support
Unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair, rewiring, or alteration
Failure to follow published installation, break-in, maintenance, or operating instructions
Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal operation
Normal wear, including wear to bearings, collets, toolholders, belts, brushes, seals, tubing, connectors, and other consumable or wear components
Accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, fire, water, lightning, power surges, or other external causes

Damage resulting from installation or use is not considered a manufacturing defect merely because it occurs during the warranty period.

6. Installation and Machine Integration

The purchaser is responsible for verifying product compatibility and for the proper installation, wiring, grounding, configuration, mounting, cooling, cable routing, and operation of the product.

PwnCNC provides published documentation and general product-specific guidance. PwnCNC does not provide custom machine design, custom electrical engineering, component-level diagnosis, third-party controller support, or certification of a customer’s completed installation.

Machine-specific modifications and the use of PwnCNC products with third-party machines, controllers, firmware, software, or accessories are performed at the purchaser’s risk.

Improper installation does not automatically void all warranty coverage; however, failures or damage caused by or related to improper installation are not covered.

PwnCNC is not responsible for:

Installation labor
Diagnostic labor performed by third parties
Machine downtime or lost production
Removal or reinstallation costs
Travel or technician fees
Damage to the customer’s CNC machine, tooling, workpiece, or other equipment
Firmware, software, or configuration changes made by third-party manufacturers

7. Warranty Evaluation and Shipping

PwnCNC may require troubleshooting information or return of the affected component before determining warranty eligibility.

Depending on the product, evaluation may be performed by PwnCNC, the original manufacturer, the supplier, or a designated service facility.

Do not return a product without receiving return authorization and shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned at the sender’s expense.

For claims involving PwnCNC-manufactured components:

The customer is responsible for inbound shipping unless PwnCNC provides a prepaid label
If a covered manufacturing defect is confirmed, PwnCNC will cover standard return shipping within the original destination country
If no covered defect is found, the customer is responsible for inspection-related charges, if disclosed in advance, and return shipping

For third-party components, all evaluation costs, shipping costs, duties, fees, repair options, and replacement decisions are governed by the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty.

International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, brokerage charges, and import or export fees unless otherwise required by law.

8. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims must be submitted during the applicable warranty period by emailing support@pwncnc.com.

Please provide:

Your PwnCNC order number
The product and affected component
The CNC machine and controller being used
A clear description of the problem and when it began
Relevant photos or video
Applicable VFD, controller, or configuration settings
A description of the installation, operating conditions, and troubleshooting already completed

PwnCNC may request additional information or specific troubleshooting tests before issuing return instructions.

Submission of a warranty claim does not constitute approval. Claims remain subject to verification of purchase, warranty eligibility, and the existence of a covered defect.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PwnCNC shall not be liable for:

Lost profits or revenue
Business interruption or machine downtime
Loss of data, materials, tooling, or workpieces
Labor, removal, installation, or third-party service costs
Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PwnCNC’s total liability arising from a product shall not exceed the amount originally paid to PwnCNC for the affected component.

Some states or jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
