Beware

Unfortunately these have been unusable for me because they did not come with the collars. Please don’t everything that I saw it was a kit. Not just the little box. I understand that someone may need to replace it, but it would’ve made a whole lot more sense to me if they would have made it a kit that included everything needed to make these work. I was so frustrated when I receive them that I never even went back to order the collars. I basically spent money for nothing at this point.

Be careful when ordering. They are useless without the stop collars. Available at additional cost of around twenty dollars for each size.

Great idea but...

I think this will be a handy little gadget when working with endmills but with 1/8 shank vee bits are too short for this application. The shank of the bit doesn't protrude far enough above the collar to be able to insert it into the collet. I haven't tried it yet but I think it will help considerably with changing between endmills for roughing and finishing cuts.
