Our extremely high quality Dial Plunger-Style Variance Indicator now comes in two sizes... 0-1" of travel or 0-.25" Measuring Range with graduations every .001".

For direct measurements, these indicators have a continuous dial numbered clockwise around the face. A spring-loaded plunger retracts and extends to measure objects. Rotate the dial face for viewing at multiple angles.

Both dial indicator sizes are compatible with our Tramming Arm and Tramming Arm Pro however the 0-1" Dial indicator is not compatible with the Tramming Master maker's file and is sized for (2) 0-.25" dial indicator.

The 0-.25" dial indicator is 85mm tall top to bottom whereas the 0-1" dial indicator is 125mm top to bottom.

Turns out that it’s useless for the fact that it will not fit underneath the Gantry. So if you have an AltMill you’re better off with just a bar.

Good Tramming Dial

I found the Dial to be heavy duty, well made and accurate. The Tramming Arm Pro and the Dial indicator work together well. I definitely recommend it for tramming.
