Do you own the v7 Dust boot and looking for additional brush and spacer tracks?

Adding additional spacer tracks is a great way to add 1/2" spacing for the bottom of your boot bristles.

Spacer tracks include magnets on top and bottom while Brush tracks include magnets on the top with a brush track on the bottom.

Adding additional brush tracks allows you to have a variety of brush bristle sizes based on the needs of your carve.

No dust boot is perfect

I prefer using a dust boot like V7 that goes up and down with the router, rather than the cumbersome independent support arm variety with fixed height. For me independent arms take too long to adjust and I’ve had the router slam into dust boot parts in carves with large Z range. Obviously, the downside of the boots, like V7, that are attached to the router is that they can lift too high off the stock. The simple attachment lever, magsafe hose connector and spacers make the V7 my favorite boot. I also like the alternative of the round brush plate when carving small stock so the brushes don’t extend off the stock’s sides. My only complaint is that the brushes sometimes get sucked in too far. Perhaps my shopvac has too much suction?

My dust boot snagged on a tall cut and got pulled into the bit. PwnCNC replaced just the damaged parts and threw in the part I needed but didn’t know I had to order it separately. I’m a customer forever.

It works ok but unless I glue in the brush(s) it too easy to pull it off when removing the magnetic holder and or spacers which need to be removed every bit change and zeroing z axis. Also would prefer more of it transparent as opposed to black
